In Peru,
the Shipibo elders know
everything is music.
Everything.
When someone is lost enough,
when their own power dissipates
leaving depression, anxiety,
and the dull ache of the body,
a voice can sing them home,
can help restore the energy
that is their inheritance.
In a digital world excited by wires
and enthralled by wireless,
sound is compressed and flattened.
It delivers the icing on the cake.
Your body is hard-wired
to make, to hear,
to touch the sound that emerges
from instruments next to you
exciting the air,
the hairs on your arm,
your cells, your heartbeat.
The universe sang you into being.
It is time to remember.

Every day is Earth Day. ✨🌎✨ I have a patte

Every day is Earth Day. ✨🌎✨

I have a pattern seeking mind. 🧠

Ever since I was a girl, I excelled at finding the patterns in things. 🌀 🐚

The way the tree swayed reminded me of a mom rocking a baby, or a dancer. The swirl of a cloud was similar to the swirl of my breath in winter. The funny behavior of adults when the moon was full felt a lot like how I acted inside a sugar high. The lines in my palm looked so much like the lines in a leaf. It took me years to confirm what my little girl loved seeing and naming. 👁️

We are nature. 🌿

We are the universe. 🪐

Everything is connected. ✨

We are all relatives. 🌈

Maybe it’s because Orion and I got married there. 💍 (yes we had gongs, bowls, and tuning forks at our wedding in 11.11.18)

Maybe it’s because Sandy Aquila curated such incredible diverse healing modalities, speakers, teachers, leaders and healers for 20+ years in this space. ✨

Maybe it’s because Orion and I LOVE what we do. ❤️
